Maku Azu (b.1986) is a Ghanaian artist based between Accra and Paris. Known for her emotive, abstract nude portraits, her work delves into themes of identity, womanhood, and existentialism. A multidisciplinary artist, she also creates sculptural self-portraits in resin and bronze, aiming to connect with viewers on a deep emotional and spiritual level.
